The sign was pulled off a 1950's-era Shepard Niles 3-ton bridge crane. The crane was decommissioned and removed and the sign was then removed from the crane. As you can see the sign is not perfect as it was in use for 80-ish years, but there are no serious blemishes. The sign appears to have been repainted.
